Holina is Wonderful! As a Rehab Center, the Staff are exceptional, all well trained, kind and give personal attention to all their clients. And Holina's facility is second to None, really the nicest rehab I've ever seen, overlooking the Sea, with two beautiful pools, excellent food and accommodation, one feels the luxury of the Koh Phangan. But most importantly is the exceptional personal treatment the clients receive . One on one counselor sessions, many group sessions throughout the day and personal guidance and help throughout the recovery journey. Holina is the Best Rehab Center in Thailand, in my opinion and Highly recommended!

By far the best rehabilitation centre I have been to. The level of care is second to none. I was very nervous attending rehab but all my fears were gone as soon as I met the team of counsellors, support staff and clients. The location is absolutely beautiful and accomodation is extremely comfortable. I had an amazing experience there and learned a lot about myself and the disease of addiction. They gave me life long tools to live a great life free from addiction. I would recommend to anyone to go there. Thank you, Holina from the bottom of my heart.

I had an Incredible experience staying at Holina Resort. World class destination complete with sweeping ocean views, private beach-front access, two stunning swimming pools overlooking the sea, and comfortable luxury rooms. The sleep and bedding quality is fantastic. Friendly staff, delicious meals and overnight security for ultimate comfort and relaxation. Highly recommended private and secluded resort just a few minutes away from the Sri Thanu and Hin Kong districts and famous Zen beach in Koh Phangan, Thailand.

Holina has been a life changing experience for me. I've been to 4 rehabs in my life and this has been by far the most profound experience I've had. This type of treatment simply couldn't be found in UK based rehabs. I came in on a huge amount of psychiatric and illicit meds. I was safely weaned off all the drugs I was abusing whilst having the support structure i needed around me at all times. Whilst the location is paradise, the programme itself is very structured and reasonably strict, which is exactly what I needed. Its helped me push my limits from a socially anxious man who isolated, to a (tanned!) man who looks forward to speaking and engaging in communities. I've conquered some real fears in the 11 weeks I stayed in Holina. And I got the opportunity to make some of the best friends of my life, and grow into someone I didn't think possible. Holina gave me the gift of optimism and hope for the future which is something i've never had so I'll always be grateful for that. I know I have a lot of work to do still, but Holina has given me the best possible start on my journey of sobriety.

A brilliant place to get back in touch with oneself. My experience at Holina was a positive one, I found that the staff adapted to my needs and created a program uniquely suited to my trauma and recovery needs. The staff themselves are committed, educated and experienced. The accommodations are private and comfortable. Cell service and WIFI are top notch. Every personal need was met during my stay. My observation of Holina is that the entire team endeavours to create a warm, welcoming holistic atmosphere with a personalized touch. The general ethos of Holina differs from the normative institutional feel of a traditional western treatment centre and the frequency of one on one therapy sessions is unmatched, so the economic value far surpassed my expectations. It was exactly what I needed. Would recommend to anyone seeking therapeutic care for trauma and or substance use disorder.

This is my second review of this place because since my last review, I ended up extending another 6 months on top of my already 2 and a half months… Because it is awesome! The only way I can describe Holina is that it’s amazing. The holistic approach allows for more ways to reveal the root of the trauma that may be stuck inside that the coping mechanisms became so strong that even the best therapists can’t tap into. Things like breath work allows for emotional releases by using the body and breath, breakthroughs. This plus the type of therapies offered in the program will make you deal and being able to manage your trauma, and have addiction be arrested in comfortable and fulfilling way. This place saved my life and one of the most common things I hear from clients who were in treatment with me who decided to listen to the rehab’s directions to the max have said the same thing. Trauma psychotherapy, somatic therapy, bio feedback water therapy who also happens to be a Buddhist teacher, art therapy, energy cleansing. these are some of the one on one’s a client will have during there week. Also groups like psychodrama are included in the week. which allows for clients to participate in a way that I can describe as theatrical group therapy. In this group, clients will learn how to speak from the heart, especially in front of an audience which a lot of people in everyday life would start panicking, allowing them to run away and hide. Psychodrama brings fourth vulnerability without thinking about it, creating connection between clients and making the client participating to learn the ability to connect with people vulnerably. These are just some of the things offered in holina. The majority of clients who come extend. I spent more than 8 months here and over 70% of people extended. It is really like a family, the staff are amazing. Highly qualified and humble, from the owner who comes and makes sure to hang out with us during food times and pops in groups to check up on us, someone who also you can go and ask to talk and he will be more then happy to do so because he loves being of service. His mentality is when you ask him for help you’re actually helping him more than he is you, and he will put his blood, sweat, and tears for each client. That goes for the director to the clinical manager to the therapists to the case managers to the support staff to the nutritionist. Healthy good tasting food too with a lovely kitchen staff! Don’t worry they will occasionally spoil you with some French fries and pizza. It’s a common thing for clients who have completed treatment to come back and visit, they continue to visit regularly. Holina is family. Thank you holina. Best decision of my life!! I can’t wait till my loved ones who need help come here! There gonna be the healthiest they’ve ever been and they’ll have joined the holina family!!

It’s been 2.5 weeks since I left Holina after spending 7.5 weeks there. I felt the need to share a review, firstly for those like me who are looking for help with their lives & secondly to express my sincere gratitude to the wonderful people at Holina who have helped me to see myself, understand myself more than I ever have & have helped me to take my life in a new direction. I reached the tough place of acceptance that I had an addiction problem prior to getting on the plane to Holina but I was fearful of the journey that lay ahead. Fear of the unknown, fear of change but the fear of staying stuck in a life of pain, confusion, a life controlled by addiction & surely losing everything was worse, so thankfully I went & made it to Holina. From the initial contact point with Holina when I made the enquiry to the day I left Holina, the love and support that I felt was truly amazing and words can’t express my true level of gratitude. The programme at Holina is action packed with so much value, coming in various different types of sessions and the 12 step programme. The staff and support team are incredible & I found that with true willingness to be open and fully commit to the programme, they provided a platform to start a new way of life. It wasn’t easy but I feel nothing worth while ever is and for me it would have been much harder continuing life as I was before Holina. I see this as a never ending journey that requires daily commitment and action to re build myself after 27 years of damage in active addiction but taking it 1 day at a time, following my after care plan from Holina I have faith in a brighter future. Life is precious and I feel we all deserve a chance to live it. I'm so grateful that writing this today I feel I have a chance to live life today, day by day with a new community to help and support me on that journey. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
